On May 1st at 7:27 pm, authorities responded to a criminal threat at a multi-unit house for mentally disabled individuals in the 1200 block of North 4th Street. Christopher Fortner, 43, allegedly pulled a fire alarm out of frustration over phone access, threatening a staff member's life in the process. Fortner was arrested for criminal threat and giving a false alarm. Notably, he has intellectual disabilities, and the incident occurred at the ResCare facility.
