Salina EDO Annual Meeting & 10th Anniversary Celebration

The Salina Community Economic Development Organization will host its 10th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon on Thursday, March 26th, at the Salina Country Club. The event will begin at 11:45 a.m. with a buffet lunch.

Our keynote speaker will be Joshua Wexler, President/CEO of Pure Imagination Studios. Pure Imagination Studios is partnering with Kansas State University Salina to create Pure Imagination Labs, the first confirmed tenant of the new K AIRES Center on the campus. The 44,000 square foot facility, opening later this year, will house Pure Imagination Lab's immersive technology operations and serve as a significant innovation hub for the region.

The luncheon program will also highlight the EDO’s accomplishments and milestones since its founding in December 2015, celebrating a decade of progress in advancing Salina’s economic growth.

Following the luncheon, the annual meeting of the EDO’s sponsoring organizations will be held. The EDO is sponsored and funded by the City of Salina, Saline County, the Salina Airport Authority, and the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce. Each organization appoints representatives to the nine member EDO Board of Directors, who guide the organization’s strategic direction and support the EDO staff.
