First Friday Live Music Series

September will be another fantastic First Friday at Red Fern Booksellers! Featuring music from the talented Dr. Allison Walker, beautiful jewelry from artist Silo Silver, and Canyon Cocktails with their unique menu, the evening will have something for everyone.

Dr. Allison Walker has been playing piano since the age of nine. She enjoys playing a wide range of musical pieces and will be sharing classical works mixed with popular songs, from Disney to Elvis to Noah Kahan. She is also an adjunct professor of Business and Accounting at Kansas Wesleyan University. She and her husband, Austin, have two children, Harrison and Michael. She enjoys spending time with her family, her three dogs, crocheting, and traveling.

Behind the name Silo Silver is Erin Petrocci, who has been silversmithing since 2013. Erin graduated from Kansas State University in 2012 with a degree in Animal Science. She fell in love, married her husband in 2013, and has since started an adorable family. Her jewelry primarily consists of silver, though she incorporates copper and gold into a few pieces. Erin is inspired by Western design, including genuine turquoise stones and engraved details. Each piece is cut, shaped, and soldered by hand.

Canyon Cocktails is a veteran-owned-and-operated mobile bar experience based in Salina, Kansas. Owners Toni and Ryan create monthly menus that bring out new and fresh flavors. They bring the bar, the charm, and the good times.
