Man Arrested for PFA Violation and Drug Charges in Salina
Salina police arrested a 29-year-old man Thursday morning for violating a Protection From Abuse (PFA) order and drug-related offenses.
Officers on routine patrol around 10 a.m. on October 18 observed Jason M. Roden speaking with a 76-year-old woman who is protected under a PFA order in the 800 block of North Ninth Street. Following the initial encounter, officers tracked Roden near the 800 block of North 12th Street and eventually located him at the Airliner Hotel, 781 North Broadway. A short physical altercation occurred during the attempted arrest before additional officers assisted and Roden was taken into custody.
During the arrest, officers found Roden in possession of a glass methamphetamine pipe. He was charged with violation of a protection order, obstruction, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The case remains under investigation.
