Sheriff’s Office Investigating Hit-and-Run and UTV Damage on West Pleasant Hill Road
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple incidents that occurred on October 18 in the 2800 block of West Pleasant Hill Road.
Deputies were notified of a hit-and-run accident in the northwest area. A utility terrain vehicle (UTV) was found abandoned in a pasture, having caused significant damage. The incident destroyed approximately 30 feet of barbed wire and damaged three to four fence posts. The damage was discovered between 8 and 9 a.m. by a local resident walking their dog.
Deputies are working to locate the owner of the UTV. The exact circumstances of how the vehicle caused the damage remain under investigation.
