Woman Arrested Near South Santa Fe After Resisting Officers

Salina police arrested a 25-year-old woman Sunday after she resisted officers during an arrest related to an outstanding warrant.

Officers were called to the 400 block of South Santa Fe at approximately 8:20 a.m. on October 19 regarding an individual with an active warrant. The suspect, identified as Mariah Peterson, was pursued and detained near 12th and Morrison, some distance from the initial location.
