South Fourth Street Railroad Crossing Replacement Begins

The City of Salina Public Works Department will begin pavement cutting on South Fourth Street between Iron Ave and Walnut Street on Monday, October 27. The street will be closed to through traffic during working hours (7:30am to 3:00pm) while crews prepare for railroad track replacement. The road will reopen daily for access. Full closure is planned from November 3rd for track replacement, with an estimated completion date of November 28th, weather permitting.
