Police Investigate Late-Night Vandalism on South Ninth Street
The Salina Police Department is investigating a late-night vandalism incident that occurred around 11 p.m. on November 22 in the 500 block of South Ninth Street.
A 46-year-old woman reported hearing a noise outside her residence before discovering damage to two vehicles parked in her driveway — a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage rental car and her 2016 Honda Odyssey. Both vehicles had two windows shattered, resulting in an estimated $1,800 in damage.
The suspect was described as wearing baggy blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a silver Halloween-style mask with bulging eyes. The suspect may have been carrying a crowbar or bat and was last seen running north on Ninth Street.
The victim provided police with a possible suspect identification. The investigation remains ongoing.
