Tools Valued at Nearly $4,700 Stolen from Evergy Truck in Salina

Salina Police are investigating a theft in which multiple tools were stolen from an Evergy truck parked in the 1000 block of Quincy Street. The report was made on November 5th, 2025, around 8:00 a.m., following the overnight incident.

Items taken included three small rolls of copper wire, two Milwaukee Packout boxes, two sets of climbing gear, and approximately $500 worth of assorted hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, and pliers. The total loss is estimated at $4,700.

There was no damage to the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
