Salina Police Investigating Residential Burglary on Berkshire Avenue
The Salina Police Department is investigating a reported residential burglary that may have occurred between September 1st and September 11th at a home in the 500 block of Berkshire.
Officers were called to the residence around 8 a.m. after the homeowner, a 34-year-old male, reported that approximately $8,000 in cash had been stolen from a safe. According to authorities, there were no signs of forced entry, and the homeowner had been in and out of the property during the time frame in question, making it difficult to determine when the theft occurred.
No suspects have been identified, and the lack of available surveillance footage—due to the extended time period—has limited investigative progress. The Salina Police Department continues to follow up on available leads as the investigation remains ongoing.
