Saline County has released the results from the 2025 Youth Ballot, showcasing the preferences of local students.

Ice cream emerged as the favorite dessert, claiming 66% of votes. When asked about the best place to visit, students overwhelmingly chose the ocean. Dolphins were selected as the favorite marine animal, receiving over half of all votes. In sports categories, basketball secured the top position, with swimming also receiving significant support.

County officials noted that the mock election serves to introduce local youth to civic engagement. Results from the Teen Ballot are expected to be announced soon.
