Salina Police Investigating Residential Burglary on Morrison After Items Reported Stolen
Salina Police are investigating a residential burglary reported in the 400 block of Morrison. Officers responded around 11:30 a.m. on December 8 after speaking with a 58-year-old male resident who reported that the incident occurred sometime between December 6 and December 8.
According to police, unknown individuals gained entry to the home through a basement window. The victim reported that approximately $300 in cash, checkbooks, a truck title, and a quantity of cholesterol medication were taken. The total monetary loss is estimated between $310 and $330.
There are currently no suspects, and no witnesses or identifiable evidence were found at the scene. The two-day timeframe in which the burglary may have occurred has added difficulty to determining when the entry took place and who may be responsible.
The investigation remains open with no active leads at this time.
