Salina Police Arrest Man for Trespassing After Early-Morning Disturbance
Salina Police responded to a reported disturbance at approximately 3:30 a.m. on December 14 at the intersection of Kenny Street and Andrew Street. When officers arrived, they encountered several individuals in the roadway.
Police reported that one individual, later identified as 22-year-old Jacob Deleon of Salina, fled on foot after officers ordered him to stop. Officers pursued and located Deleon hiding in the backyard of a residence in the 2000 block of Kenny Street.
Deleon was taken into custody without incident. Officers stated he was verbally uncooperative but physically compliant. He was arrested and charged with trespassing after it was determined he did not have permission to be on the property.
The initial call to police indicated a possible fight, but officers reported that Deleon did not provide information regarding the disturbance. The investigation remains ongoing.
