Renaissance Teachers of the Month Honored at Board Meeting
The Salina Public Schools Board of Education recognized several educators as Renaissance Teachers of the Month during its regular meeting on January 13, 2026.
The Renaissance program honors outstanding teachers through on-air radio recognition, social media features, and spotlights on the USD 305 website. Teachers recognized during the meeting represented honorees from September through December.
Teachers recognized in attendance included:
Central High School: Katrina Parodis, Noah Wellbrock-Talley
Lakewood Middle School: Damon Boyer, Noah Smucker, Jim Harbaugh
South High School: Shana Pittinger
South Middle School: Jessa Hers
Those recognized but not present included:
Central High School: Alan Webb, Lindsay Modin
Lakewood Middle School: Jacy Murphy
South High School: Colin Carlson, David Weir, Terek Smith
South Middle School: Gavin Blehm, Elijah Salmans, Hernan Hernandez
Superintendent Linn Hogan and members of the Board of Education congratulated the teachers, with board members presenting the awards.
