Domestic Disturbance Leads to Arrest on South Ohio
On Sunday, January 18, just after 5:00 a.m., Salina Police officers responded to a residence in the 300 block of S. Ohio Street for a reported domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a temporary resident of the home had been rearranging plants inside the residence, causing a mess and leading to an argument with other occupants. During the incident, the temporary resident reportedly took a phone from another resident who had begun recording the disturbance.
A physical altercation followed, during which the suspect allegedly ripped another resident’s shirt and threw a lit candle and a soda can at other residents inside the home.
As a result of the investigation, officers arrested 19-year-old Jasmine L. Pritchard. She was booked into the Saline County Jail on one count of robbery, two counts of domestic battery, and one count of damage to property.
