Man Arrested After Burglary on North 7th Street

On Sunday, January 18, Salina Police officers responded to a burglary report at 157 N. 7th Street.

Contractors working at the building that morning arrived and discovered a damaged door and a male inside the premises. The male left the building before officers arrived, but officers located him in the area and took him into custody without incident.

During the investigation, the male admitted to entering the building and consuming a bag of chips and a bottle of water.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Nathan M. Augustine. He was charged with burglary and damage to property.
