Salina Police Department announces 2026 Junior Police Academy
Local teens and young adults can apply for a free, week-long Junior Police Academy running June 1–5, 2026, hosted by the Salina Police Department.
The academy is designed to educate local youth about the law enforcement profession through scenario-based instruction and hands-on activities.

Eligibility requirements
Applicants must:
Be 14–19 years old
Live in a surrounding county (some exceptions may apply)
Have no criminal background or disciplinary issues
