Salina Public Schools Selects Scott Chrisman as Executive Director of Human Resources

Salina Public Schools announced it has selected Scott Chrisman to serve as the district’s Executive Director of Human Resources, effective July 1, 2026.

Chrisman has 23 years of experience in education, including 18 years with Salina Public Schools. He currently serves as principal at Lakewood Middle School. His previous roles include:

Middle school social studies teacher

K–12 assistant principal

High school assistant principal

According to the district, Chrisman earned a bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in educational administration from Emporia State University.

Salina Public Schools said Chrisman will begin the new role July 1.
