Oakdale Elementary ESL Teacher Named February Teacher Appreciation Winner

USD 305 Salina Public Schools has recognized Lisa Lynn as its February Teacher Appreciation award recipient. Lynn is an English as a Second Language teacher at Oakdale Elementary in Salina, where she has worked for the district for 28 years.

According to the district, Lynn focuses on language development alongside content learning in her classroom, using instructional strategies designed to help multilingual students build English skills in real-world contexts. She also supports colleagues and advocates for multilingual learners across the school community.
