Salina-Based JRI Hospitality Adds 43 Freddy’s Locations in HCI Deal

JRI Hospitality announced it has acquired HCI Hospitality’s restaurant operations, including 43 additional Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers locations and two specialty restaurants, a move that significantly expands the Salina-based company’s national footprint.

According to JRI’s announcement, the acquisition increases the company’s Freddy’s portfolio to 130-plus locations across 18 states and brings its overall restaurant count to more than 145 locations nationwide.

In its public statement, JRI said it views the deal as part of its continued growth strategy and highlighted HCI Hospitality’s reputation for quality, integrity, and performance. The company also said it plans to welcome HCI team members into JRI operations and continue service at the acquired locations.

JRI Hospitality is headquartered in Salina and has a local presence that includes ties to Salina Country Club and Mokas Coffee & Eatery.

The acquisition further strengthens JRI’s position as one of the largest Freddy’s operators in the country, while expanding its restaurant operations across multiple markets.
