Breaking: One Injured, One In Custody After Shooting Investigation In West Salina

The Salina Police Department is currently investigating an incident that occurred in the 1100 block of W. Republic just before 5:00 PM. Several shots were fired during the incident, and one individual suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at SRHC. One individual is currently in custody as the investigation is ongoing. Further details will be provided later.   

The Salina Police Department is investigating a shots-fired incident reported just before 5 p.m. in the 1100 block of W. Republic.

According to police, several shots were fired during the incident. One person suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and is being treated at Salina Regional Health Center.

Police said one individual is currently in custody as the investigation remains ongoing.
