Salina Family YMCA Launches Adult Flag Football League
The Salina Family YMCA is bringing back its Adult Flag Football League, giving local adults another chance to stay active, compete, and connect with others through organized recreational sports.
The league is part of the YMCA’s continued effort to provide quality athletic opportunities for the Salina community. Open to adults 18 and older, the program will feature structured weekly matchups, team-based competition, and a welcoming environment for players looking for both fitness and fun.
The season will run for six weeks, with games scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sundays.
“Our goal is to give adults a place to compete, stay active, and reconnect with the fun of the game,” said Jessica Biegert, Sports Director at the Salina Family YMCA.
The YMCA said adult sports remain an important part of its broader mission to support healthy bodies, healthy minds, and strong communities. In addition to flag football, the organization offers a variety of other adult sports programs throughout the year.
Adult players, workplace teams, and recreational groups are all encouraged to sign up for the league.
Registration information is available at salinaymca.org/sports.
