Salina Police Department Receives Dual Law Enforcement Accreditation

The Salina Police Department has received dual accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) and the Kansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (KLEAP).

The dual accreditation recognizes agencies that meet established professional standards in law enforcement, including measures related to accountability and operational practices.

According to the department, only 14 law enforcement agencies in Kansas currently hold both accreditations.
