Bicycle Valued at $5,800 Stolen in Burglary at Salina Bike Shop
A burglary was reported at Bike Tek, located at 660 S. Ohio in Salina, Kansas, that occurred between midnight and 8:00 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026. According to the Salina Police Department, the suspect broke a glass door with a rock to gain entry to the business.
The suspect stole an all-black, small-frame Trek Check-Out bicycle with racing handlebars, valued at $5,800. Damage to the building was estimated at $2,000. The bicycle was later recovered locked to a telephone pole behind residences in the 1300 block of Louise Lane.
