Obituary for Milford "Randy" Randall Phillips

Milford Randall “Randy” Phillips, 76, of Salina, KS, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. He was born November 3, 1949, in Salina, to Harry and Carol (McNally) Phillips.

Randy was raised in Salina. He owned and operated a concrete business, Phillips Construction, and was an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He was married to Lillian (Markley) on August 15, 1999, at the All Saints Orthodox Church in Salina.

Randy loved riding motorcycles and was out on his Harley whenever he had the chance. In addition to tending to his backyard birds, he loved to watch his news channels and spend quality time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Lil; sons, Scott Phillips (Gerri) and Toby Phillips; step-son, Troy Lubbers; step-daughters, Deanna Clark, Amy Yanez (Jamie), and Laura Derowitsch (Ryan); 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Karon Holcom, Diana Caiello (Ricky), and Janet Crowe (John); and brother, Harry Phillips (Lisa).

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tony Phillips; and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N 8th St, Salina, with the family present at 6 p.m., and a Trisagion service beginning at 7. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 3, 2026, at All Saints Orthodox Church, 2818 Scanlan Ave, Salina. The Very Rev. Dr. Chad Hatfield presiding. Burial rites will be in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. A mercy meal at the church will follow the burial.

Memorial donations may be made to All Saints Orthodox Church, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, care of Ryan Mortuary.
