Home, Vehicle Hit by Gunfire in Early Morning Salina Incident

Salina Police are investigating after multiple gunshots were reportedly fired early this morning in the area of Kiowa Ave and Osage Ave.

According to information obtained by Salina311, home security video recorded the sound of nine shots fired at around 4 a.m. in the area.

In a nearby area around Kiowa Avenue and Osage Avenue, a witness later filed a police report after discovering that their home and vehicle had been struck by gunfire. The witness also had a bullet believed to be from the scene in their possession when reporting the incident.

Salina Police have confirmed they were contacted early this morning and that a case has been made.

Salina311 has obtained photos showing damage to a vehicle, a wall, and a recovered bullet from that location, as well as video capturing the sound of the shots fired.
