Registration Now Open for YMCA Summer T-Ball & Coach Pitch Programs
The Salina Family YMCA has opened registration for its annual Summer T-Ball and Coach Pitch programs, welcoming children ages 4 to 7 to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a fun, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
These programs are designed to introduce young athletes to the basics of the game, from throwing and catching to teamwork and sportsmanship, while keeping the focus on confidence-building, skill development, and having fun. YMCA youth sports emphasize positive coaching, inclusive play, and creating a welcoming space for every child, regardless of experience level.
T-Ball is open to children ages 4 to 5 and offers an introductory experience where players learn the fundamentals in a low-pressure setting. Coach Pitch, for ages 6 to 7, provides the next step for young athletes who are ready for more of a challenge and game-like play while still receiving guidance and support from coaches.
Games and practices are held locally, making participation convenient for families throughout the community. The YMCA encourages early registration, as spots often fill quickly.
