Salina Family YMCA Launches New Sport-Specific Training for All Ages

The Salina Family YMCA has announced the launch of its expanded one-on-one and group sport-specific training sessions, designed to help athletes of all ages and skill levels improve their performance.

Focused on personalized coaching, the sessions are tailored to each athlete’s sport, goals, and experience level. Whether participants are learning fundamentals, refining technique, or preparing for competition, the YMCA’s coaching staff is committed to helping every athlete grow with confidence.

Sports currently offered include baseball, basketball, flag football, football, soccer, softball, volleyball, and sports performance training focused on speed, agility, and strength.

Training is open to youth, high school athletes, college players, and adults, making it a valuable option for anyone looking to build skills and stay competitive.

The YMCA’s coaching staff brings a wide range of collegiate playing and coaching experience, including former college volleyball players, NAIA-level coaches, multi-position football athletes, certified strength and conditioning specialists, and experienced soccer coaches with more than a decade of coaching experience. Their combined background helps provide high-quality instruction tailored to each athlete’s individual needs.

The Salina Family YMCA encourages community members to take advantage of this new opportunity to train with experienced coaches in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
