Saline County civil filings jump 78% from the prior week
Saline County civil case filings picked up noticeably this week, with the daily average rising to 1.6 filings per day from 0.9 the week before, a 77.8 percent week-over-week increase. The latest recorded filing count was 2 on April 10, after the county also logged 2 filings on April 6 and April 7 and a weekly peak of 5 on April 3.
That recent pace is running well ahead of the 1.1-case average in the recorded dataset. April is also off to a faster start than March. Through the first nine tracked days of the month, civil filings are averaging 1.7 per day, compared with 0.7 per day across March, a 150 percent month-over-month increase. The recent pattern suggests civil court activity has shifted up from late March rather than simply producing a one-day spike.
