Donald Ray Fink

May 23, 1951 - April 9, 2026

Donald Ray Fink, 74, of Salina, was born May 23, 1951, in Salina, to Marvin J. and Mildred M. (Ummel) Fink. He weighed anchor, cast off all lines, slipped his earthly mooring, April 9, 2026, and stood out from the pier to the sea of stars. Under a full sail and a prevailing wind at his back, his course was shaped to his heavenly home.

Survivors include his sister, Kathryn Fink, of Centennial, Colorado; sister-in-law, Donna Fink, of New Cambria; nephews, Nathan Fink, and Jason Fink; great-nephews, Logan Fink and Jacob Fink; great-niece, Morgan Fink; aunt, Eunice Ummel; and uncle, Marvin Ummel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Mildred Fink; brother Robert “Bob” Fink.

Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Roselawn Cemetery, 1920 East Crawford Street, with Pastor Doug McHenry. Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at First Covenant Church, 2625 E Magnolia Road, Salina, Kansas 67401.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor's choice, in care of Heier Scott Mortuary and Cremations, 1920 East Crawford Street, Salina, Kansas 67401.
