Salina Symphony Offers Summer String Lessons for Young Musicians

The Salina Symphony String Academy is offering Beginning Strings Summer Group Lessons for brand-new musicians and those with less than a year of playing experience. Students will build a strong musical foundation while learning violin, viola, and cello in a fun, supportive group setting.

Two three-week sessions are available, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays:

Group lessons will be taught by Denise Blehm, concertmaster of the Salina Symphony. For more than three decades, Blehm has performed with the Salina Symphony and nurtured young musicians through private instruction.
