Fair Housing Seminar Draws More Than 50 Attendees in Salina

More than 50 people attended a Fair Housing Seminar on Friday at OCCK in Salina. The event was hosted by the city's Community Relations Department.

Topics covered during the seminar included fair housing laws, tenant rights and responsibilities, Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, the Violence Against Women Act, and property maintenance and code enforcement.

The seminar was sponsored by Bennington State Bank, Bank of Tescott, Realtors of South Central Kansas, Kansas Housing Resource Corporation, Clark, Mize & Linville, Chartered, and OCCK, Inc.
