Saline County criminal case filings are running nearly triple March’s pace

Criminal case filings in Saline County are averaging 2.7 per day in April, up 199.5 percent from March's 0.9 daily average.

The current month produced a recently-recorded peak of 14 filings on April 20, followed by 3 on April 21 and 1 on April 24.

The latest seven-day average sits at 2.6 filings per day, slightly above the prior week's 2.3.

Across 100 recorded days since Jan. 29, the overall average is 1.9, so April is running well above the broader recorded norm even after several zero-filing days this week.
