Ross at Central Mall Remains Closed Following Hail Storm Damage

Ross Dress for Less at Central Mall in Salina remains closed following hail storm damage earlier this week.

Cleanup activity was visible at the store, with products being moved out of the damaged location and placed into large bins in the parking lot. Forklifts and other machinery were also on site as crews worked to clear and clean the affected area.

The Ross location is inside Central Mall, which has seen storm-related cleanup activity following the severe weather that moved through Salina at the beginning of the week.

At this time, no reopening date has been announced for Ross. It is not yet clear how long the cleanup or repair process will take before the store can resume normal operations.

The closure comes as several Salina businesses continue dealing with damage from the hail storm, including impacts to roofs, windows, inventory and interior spaces.
