It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Pauline C. Schriner of Culver, Kansas on May 04, 2026. Pauline was born in Geneseo, Kansas on April 10, 1932. She married Clarence E. Schriner on June 13, 1949. Their many years together, blessed them with four daughters, Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter Donna Lee Schriner, age 11 (1964), husband Clarence E. Schriner (2022), grandson Brad Schriner (2023) as well as four brothers and two sisters.

Pauline is survived by daughters Paulette Sue Anderson of Durango, Colorado, Beverly Jean Dufva (Russ) of Bayfield Colorado and Diana Lynn Allen (Buddy) of Geneseo, Kansas. Grandchildren, Chad Schriner (Krista) USN Retired of Flagstaff, Arizona, Dani Gibbons (Loren) of Durango, Colorado, Jimmy Allen (Penni) USN Retired of Kingsland, Georgia, Jessica Johnson (Rusty) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, JT Dufva (Liz) of Durango, Colorado and Matt Dufva (Jen) of Bayfield, Colorado. Great grandchildren Haylee Wieber (Gunnar) of Gilbert, Arizona, Ashley Gutierrez (Isai) of Gilbert, Arizona, Faith Parker (Riggin) of Mineral Wells, Texas, Evan Gibbons of Durango, Colorado, Hunter Dufva of Bayfield, Colorado and Hudson Dufva of Bayfield, Colorado, Evelyn and Issac Hazzard of Kingsland, Georgia. Great great grandchildren, Mason Gutierrez, Rylee Wieber, Nevaeh Gutierrez and Emilia Gutierrez of Gilbert, Arizona and by two Sisters, Rosella Nelson of Marquette, Kansas and Elaine Nelson of McPherson Kansas.

Dennis J. Cochrane

February 3, 1951 - May 5, 2026

Dennis J. Cochrane

Dennis J. Cochrane passed away peacefully in his home after a long-time battle with COPD. He was 75 years of age.

In October of 1985 he and his wife Marcie moved to Salina, KS where they have resided for the past 40 years. During those years he worked as a pharmacist for what was originally known as Skaggs Alpha Beta, then Harvest Foods, which eventually became Dillon’s grocery store. When he finally retired as a pharmacist in 2001, he went back to school to earn his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University. He was then employed by Wilson and Company from 2002 to 2012 in the Human Resource Department.

During his years in Salina, KS, he was an active member of the AA/NA community. He also became an ordained minister at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church and served on their Board of Trustees for a number of years.

In his younger years he enjoyed playing softball in the summers and bowling during the winter months. One of his biggest joys was supporting his grand kids with their extra-curricular sport activities in basketball and power lifting. He was so very proud of them!

He was a family man and loved each and every one of his family members with an unconditional love. So, to each of you who have known him, Mama and I want to say THANK YOU for your part in his life journey.

He is survived by his wife: Marcie Cochrane, his daughter: Monique Sprague, his grandchildren: Hailey Mayfield and Romoni Sprague all of Salina, KS. He is also survived by Sister-in-laws: Sharon Cox and Jackie Johnston, Nieces: Donna Price and Toni Allaman, Nephews: Troy Cochrane, Greg Cochrane, Jeff Cox, Jeremy Miles, and Jericho Hoover, along with lots of great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy C. & Ruth L. Cochrane, his siblings: Roy G. (Micky) Cochrane, Judy K. Escadero & Terry Cochrane, his nephew: Kenny E. Escadero, and his great nephew: Daniel Cochrane.

His family will be celebrating his life with a private graveside ceremony in Salina, KS.

Ronald Richard Klein at Heier Scott Mortuary and Cremation

Ronald R. Klein, 84, of Russell, formerly of Salina, passed away, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Hays Medical Center. He was born in Jetmore, Kansas to Lawrence E. and Lulu D. (Clapper) Klein, on June 20, 1941. He married Sandra V. Martin, she passed away on October 23, 2015. He served in the United States Army from September 1963 to September 1966. For many years he worked with sheet metal at Raytheon in Salina.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra; and son Tracy Brandt.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Tereya McConnell (Dameon), Alex Brandt, and Terra Champion; great-grandchildren, Camryn (16), Skylee (11), and Lilyth (10).

Visitation will be 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, with the service starting at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, with United States Military Honors, VFW Post #1432, and American Legion #62 present.
