Salina Invitational Track Meet (Photo Gallery)

The 2026 Salina Invitational Track Meet was held at Salina Stadium on Friday, May 8th.  Salina Central High School placed 3rd with 89 points while Salina South High School came in 7th with 41 points.  Manhattan High School won the entire meet with 137 points. Standout Kaylie Shultz broke Salina Central's 1600 meter school record with a time of 4:50.63.

Central High School also took 1st place in the following events: 

Girls Discuss: Allison Robinett - 127-3

Girls Shot Put: Allison Robinett - 42-5.75

Girls 800 Meter Run: Kaylie Shultz - 2:21.62

Boys 3200 Meter Run: Liam Deniau-Young - 9:57.58

Boys 4x400 Meter Relay - Angel McMurray, Isak Howe, Kaeden Nienke, Tucker Rice 3:26.22 

South High School took 1st place in the following events:

Girls 200 Meter Dash - JaMara Davis - 25.90

Boys 400 Meter Dash - Gabe Autry - 50.22

Girls Triple Jump - Amari Deherrera 34-4
