Police Respond to Student Crisis at Former Hageman Elementary Building

Salina Police responded Wednesday afternoon to Central Kansas Cooperative in Education, located at the former Hageman Elementary School building, after a report involving a student in crisis.

Salina311 had received reports of a heavy police presence at the building and contacted the Salina Police Department for information.

Captain James Feldman with the Salina Police Department said officers responded after a student was reportedly in crisis and out of control.

"Officers responded and assisted staff in getting the necessary assistance the student needed", Feldman stated. 

No additional details are to be released.
