Salina Family YMCA to Host Early Learning Center Open Houses in June
The Salina Family YMCA will host a series of Early Learning Center Open Houses in early June for families interested in child care and early childhood education programs.
The open houses will give prospective families a chance to tour facilities, meet educators, learn about classroom programming, and ask questions about enrollment. Because apparently children do not arrive with instruction manuals, despite centuries of civilization trying its best.
The first open house is scheduled for Monday, June 2, at the McAdams Early Learning Center, an off-site YMCA-run facility. The event will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is open to families with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
The second open house will be held Tuesday, June 3, at the YMCA Early Learning Center from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This location is enrolling children ages 2.5 to 5 years old and will offer families a closer look at its classrooms and early learning programs.
The final open house is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, at the Angel Early Learning Center, another off-site YMCA-run facility. The event will also run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is open to families with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Across its early learning locations, the YMCA says its programs focus on providing a nurturing environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically while building a foundation for future success.
Families interested in enrolling can attend one of the open houses or learn more through the Salina Family YMCA child care page
