AMC10 Reportedly Closed as GameStop and Dunham’s Face Central Mall Questions

Several Central Mall tenants remain in uncertain positions as questions continue about the future of businesses inside the Salina shopping center.

Salina311 contacted Dunham’s Sports and spoke with a manager regarding whether the recent rash of store closures inside Central Mall could affect Dunham’s remaining open. The manager said she could not make a statement at this time.

The response does not confirm any change in Dunham’s status. It does, however, show that questions about the mall’s future are now reaching tenants still operating in or connected to the property.

Salina311 also confirmed with GameStop that the store remains in limbo. The store does not currently know when it will be able to reopen at Central Mall or even if changing locations is a possible option. 

The uncertainty comes as local attention has also turned to AMC CLASSIC Salina 10. Salina311 has received reports that the theater is now permanently closed. However, those reports have not been officially confirmed.

Salina311 has reached out to AMC and Central Mall management for comment. As of publication, neither AMC nor mall management has returned those calls.
