ALERT: Hospital Parking Garage Access Restricted During Severe Weather

Community members are being asked not to use the hospital parking garage for hail shelter unless they are a patient, visitor, or employee.

Hospital officials said the garage must remain available for patients, guests, and employees who need access to care during severe weather.

Anyone who currently has a vehicle parked in the garage and is not a patient, visitor, or employee is asked to move their vehicle as soon as possible.

Beginning immediately, garage entrances will be monitored. Employees will be asked to show an employee badge, and only patients and guests with business at the hospital will be allowed entry.

Officials said the restriction is intended to ensure access for those receiving and providing care. Because, yes, even during hail, hospitals still have to function.
