City of Salina Landfill Closing Early on May 18 Due to Severe Weather

The City of Salina Landfill will close early at 2:00 p.m. today, May 18, 2026, due to the forecast of severe weather in the area. Expected hail and heavy rainfall may create unsafe conditions at the landfill site.
