YMCA Announces Monthly Sunday Funday Family Sports Series

The Salina Family YMCA is offering a monthly Sunday Funday Family Sports series designed to give families an opportunity to participate in recreational activities together.

The program features a different activity each month, including kickball, hiking, volleyball, pickleball, disc golf, cornhole, Spikeball, racquetball, wallyball and basketball.

Events are scheduled from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. at various locations in Salina, including YMCA facilities, local parks and community trails.

According to the YMCA, the program is intended to encourage family activity, healthy habits and community participation. Some events are free, while select instructional clinics may include a participation fee.

This year’s scheduled activities include:

Kickball

Marty Bender Family Hike

Volleyball Family Clinic

Pickleball

Disc Golf

Cornhole, Spikeball, Racquetball and Wallyball

Basketball Family Clinic

The program is open to all ages. Registration is required.
