Salute to Our Heroes Event Set for May 22 at The Venue in Salina

A Salina event honoring veterans, active military members, and first responders is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, at The Venue.

Salute to Our Heroes, presented by One Vision Aviation, will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at The Venue, 638 Francis Street in Salina.

The event is being promoted as a tribute to those who have served in the military, those currently serving, and first responders, including law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency personnel.

Scheduled performers include Jason Michael Carroll, Love and Theft, Danielle Peck, Bigg Vinny, and Jaron Bell.

A VIP experience is listed at $75 and includes a meet-and-greet dinner, with VIP doors opening at 5:00 p.m. General admission is listed at $25 at the door, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m.

The event is part of One Vision Aviation’s 2026 recognition of military members, veterans, and first responders. Because apparently honoring people who run toward danger instead of away from it is one of the few civic traditions still worth keeping.
