Saline County Male Jail Population Drops 13% Since Beginning Of May

The Saline County male jail population stood at 132 on May 24, below the recorded average of 140.9 and down from the prior week's average of 144.4.

The latest week averaged 133.4 male inmates, a 7.6% decrease from the previous week. The low point came on May 22 at 130, the lowest May reading in the current month-to-date dataset.

The decline followed a higher stretch earlier in May, when the male jail population reached 154 on May 3, the highest value in the recent recorded data.
