Old Navy Gives Salina311 Update as Central Mall Reopening Questions Continue

Old Navy inside Central Mall remains closed as the mall continues working through broader facility issues related to its leaking roof and interior water damage.

Salina311 spoke directly with a member of Old Navy management, who confirmed the store is ready to reopen once mall access and building conditions allow. According to store management, Old Navy’s own roof is not the issue, and the store would be able to operate if it had a direct exterior entrance separate from the mall’s interior.

The current delay is tied to Central Mall’s ongoing building-wide issues, not Old Navy’s individual storefront.

Old Navy management said there is currently no confirmed timeline for when the store will be able to reopen to customers.

Central Mall has continued to deal with water intrusion following recent storms, with portions of the interior impacted by leaks and visible damage. The latest rainfall appears to have created another setback for the property, as affected tenants wait for conditions inside the mall to be resolved.
