Jacqueline Kay “Jackie” (Ford) Rose, 87, of Salina, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026. She was born in Colby, Kansas to Donald Earl and Florence Faye (Fisher) Ford on February 21, 1939. She graduated from North High School in 1957. Her love story with her husband John began when they were just teenagers. The two met at a drive-in restaurant when Jackie was 14 and John was 15, beginning a lifelong journey of love, faith, and devotion together. They were united in marriage on June 2, 1957, in Wichita. John and Jackie attended First Baptist Church when residing in Herington. After moving to Salina, she became a faithful member at First Southern Baptist Church. She was deeply involved in the church community. She lovingly taught Sunday school and dedicated much of her life serving others through her faith. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to Christ touched countless lives.

Those who knew Jackie will remember her gentle spirit, strong faith, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She lived her life as an example of Christian love and grace.

As Jackie prepared to leave this earthly life, she faced it with peace and confidence, knowing exactly where she was going because of her strong faith in Jesus Christ. Her faith never wavered, and she found comfort in the promise of eternal life.
