Citywide Limb Pickup to Begin June 15 in Salina
The City of Salina Public Works Department will begin a citywide limb pickup on June 15, 2026, following storm-related tree damage.
City crews will focus on removing and clearing tree debris from residential locations, with priority given to areas with the most significant damage.
Residents are asked to neatly stack tree limbs at the curb on their property. Limbs should be no longer than 10 feet. Piles should not be blocked by vehicles, and residents should make sure no other debris or waste is mixed in with the limbs.
The city will be divided into six zones so crews can address storm debris efficiently, with crews working in each zone.
Residents who want tree limbs removed sooner than the expected citywide pickup timeframe may call the General Services office at (785) 309-5750 to schedule a special pickup for the standard removal fee.
The city will not collect limbs from private properties, private streets, alleys, or commercial properties. All tree limbs and vegetation debris must be placed at the curb to be eligible for free city curbside pickup.
