Overnight Shelter Open for Saline County Residents

Saline County officials announced that overnight and cooling shelter is available for county residents at University United Methodist Church, located at 1509 S. Santa Fe in Salina.

Check-in at the shelter begins at 4 p.m. Residents who plan to stay overnight are asked to bring their own pillows, blankets, and any other personal items they may need.

The American Red Cross is assisting with the sheltering effort. Additional details were not immediately available.
