City Continues Limb Pickup After Severe Storms

June 15, 2026 storm cleanup, limb pickup, public works, salina, severe weather

The City of Salina Public Works Department is continuing the first round of citywide limb pickup following the severe storms that moved through Salina last week.

Crews are working across six sections of the city as part of the cleanup effort. Residents who want limbs and vegetation debris collected through the free curbside pickup program should place the material at the curb.

The city said crews will not collect debris from private properties, private streets, alleys or commercial properties. Only tree limbs and vegetation debris placed at the curb will be picked up.

Residents are encouraged to have storm debris curbside and ready for collection as crews continue moving through the city.
