Arrest Made, Stolen Tools and Trailer Recovered in East Wayne Burglary Case
An arrest has been made and a significant amount of stolen property has been recovered in connection with a burglary and theft reported earlier this month in the 100 block of East Wayne.
The original burglary was discovered on June 14, 2026, when a victim remodeling a residence found the home had been entered and numerous tools stolen. Also taken was a white 2020 Haulmark enclosed trailer containing additional tools, with total losses initially estimated at approximately $35,000.
As part of the ongoing investigation, approximately $25,000 worth of stolen tools were recovered in rural McPherson County on June 16.
Then, at approximately 4:00 a.m. on June 18, officers arrested 34-year-old Bryan McBride of Salina in connection with the case.
McBride was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of:
•Burglary
•Felony theft
Authorities also reported that the stolen Haulmark trailer was recovered early June 18 in Ada, Kansas.
Investigators continue to work to identify and recover any remaining stolen property.
